The village of Ixelles originates with the foundation of Abbaye de la Cambre, which was established by the Sisters of the Cistercian Order in the middle Ages. Now, Ixelles is famous tourist place in Brussels having charming Bois de la Cambre, parks, ponds and walkpaths.


4) La Monnale
It is an impressive opera house in this charming city. Its construction work started in 1695 and completed in 1700. It is worth visit to this sight as you can see several highlights. If you are in first balcony, you can see the spectacular the opera royal box. This site currently houses the theatre’s workshops, including stage design and costume shops, the hairdresser and make-up studios, as well as the rehearsal rooms for the opera and orchestra.


5) Eglise du Beguinage

London to Paris Eurostar timetable changes: Effective from Sunday 26 February

Due to essential engineering works in the Ashford area, the following London > Paris train will leave slightly earlier on 26 February.

Train number 9018 will now leave London St Pancras International at 10:19 (original scheduled departure time 10:24) and Ebbsfleet International at 10:36 (original scheduled departure time 10:42). The arrival time in Paris remains unchanged.

Please arrive to check in at least 30 minutes before your new departure time. You will still be able to check in through the ticket gates as normal.
