Avignon Train Station (Eurostar & TGV)
Avignon international station (Gare d'Avignon Centre) is Eurostar station serving the city of Avignon in France. There are large number of train operators using Avignon Centre Station including Transport express regional, TGV trains from Paris Gare de Lyon, Provence, Cote d’Azur and Lanuedoc and Eurostsr train directs from London to Avignon during the Summer months.
The station is the most convenient for central Avignon, sitting just outside the medieval ramparts. It’s then only a few minutes’ walk to the main sights and hotel. Between 10 July and 11 September 2010 we're running direct weekly Saturday services from St Pancras International and Ashford International to Avignon Centre station. Avignon centre station is different from Avignon TGV, which is one of the TGV Med high-speed lines. There is a shuttle bus operates between the two stations which runs about every 20 min and takes approximately 10 min.
